Let’s talk about paella!

We’re pleased to announce we are partnering with three of Valencia’s most recognised paella chefs to redefine the popular understanding of the iconic dish.

Last Saturday the 17th October we kicked off this three-month series with Vicente Rioja, head chef and owner of Rioja restaurant in Benisano. Most famous for the Paella Valenciana, Vicente explained the characteristics you should expect to see in a true, authentic Valencian paella. Vicente’s paella will be available as a special at our restaurant for a month. As we want to get the discussion going, we will be offering a £10 discount per person on the paella from Monday to Wednesday.  Reserve your table here and mention “Valenciana Special”*

It would be rare to find a Valencian person who hasn’t heard of Casa Elías’s famous Rabbit and Snails rice. In our next event of the series, we join Luis Rodriguez and Quique Dacosta. Live from Valencia they’ll converse with our own head chef Richard de la Cruz whilst they cook along together.
